Rent A Room

Oh no!!!!!
What I should do now?????
I'm facing a problem for my accommodation. My owner suddenly want to collect back his house and only give me one month to get a new accommodation. This means that i must move out and rent a room within a month if not I really will become no place to stay.

Now, I'm already no choice. I must solve this problem as soon as possible. First, I need to define my problem. In this case, the problem is I should get a room in Cyberia but in the reality the Cyberia is already overcrowded. So, it will more difficult for me to get an accommodation.

After define the problem, I need to analyse the problem such as is it a big problem, what is the cause of the problem and so on. After that, I need to identify the solution. For instance, I can move to Seri Kembangan, I can travel everyday from Kepong, share a room with others in Cyberia and the others choice.

Last, I need to decide from the alternatives choices which is list out all the advantages and disadvantages for all the solution and choose a best choice from those alternatives choices. Finally, the decision I will make is I will try to share a room with others in Cyberia. If I really cannot share a room with friends, then I will move to Seri Kembangan.

Thanks God, I get the solution to solve the problem. Now, I can relax and no need to be too worry. I only need to follow the solution I was already define out and get ready to say bye bye to my old accommodation.....

And today is my last day to write a blog for my BCT assignment. I should say thank you to my lecturer because she is giving me the opportunity to write a blog in Blogger. I hope that next time I still have the chance to write the blog in Blogger.

Self-Contradictory

Today, my younger cousin was come to my house. She told me what was happened in her school. She said her teacher told her a story is about self-contradictory. The story is like this :

Long long time ago, a person is selling spear and shield. A day, when he is selling his shield, he is boasted his shield by saying : "my shield is very tough, no weapons can be broken it". After that, he is boasted his spear. He tell the crowd :"my spear is very sharp. My spear can penetrate any shield in this world." Suddenly, someone is asked him:" what is the result if I use your spear to thorn on your shield."

In this world, we know that the shield which cannot be broken and the spear which can penetrate anything are not coexist. And we also call this as Paradox.

Birthday

Still have one week will be my best friend,Jessica's birthday. We want to give her a special birthday celebration. We are Zuriana, Siti, Crystal, Annie, Andrew, Lynettle, Lydia, Andron, Benjamin and I. We was discussing how to celebrate the birthday with Jessica. Ten of us no ideas about the Jessica's birthday because too much people in the discussion.

Suddenly,I realize that may be we can use the brainstoming to get an ideas. That's why they choose me to be the leader in the discussion and my assistant was Annie. Before we continue the discussion, I'm asked them a few question about Jessica's favourite such as what food is her favourite,what colour she is her favourite and so on. This is a part of warm-up exercise in brainstoming. After the warm up, I continue the discussion.

Don't know what was happening with them!!!!! Suddenly, all of them had a lot of ideas. For instance, Crystal was suggested we can organize a Sushi Birthday Part because Jessica's favourite food is Sushi; Andrew was suggested we can print out our photo and form a album for Jessica;Benjamin was suggested we can prepare the Sushi by ourselves and the others ideas. Annie was taken notes for all the ideas they was given.

After collected all the ideas, we try to decide the best idea in those ideas. Finally, we decide that we will organize a Sushi Birthday Party in Zuriana's house and all of us will prepare at least one type of Sushi. About the present, we will make our own album for Jessica as a present. I hope that our effort will bear fruit and will give Jessica an unforgettable birthday.

A Poem

Today, I read a poem which is written by Maya Angelou. The
title of the poem is Still I Rise. The poem is like this :

You may write me down in history
With your bitter,twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt

I would like to share this poem in my blog because I think that this poem is quite good. This poem is easy to understand and the expression in the poem is perform well. The poet use some techniques when she was writing the poem. This may able to make the poem more smoothly when we read. The most techniques she used are Simile and Metaphor. We can get a lot of example for both technique in the poem. For instance :

1) Simile

• 'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
• just like moons and like suns
• just like hopes springing high

2) Metaphor

• You may write me down in history
• You may trod me in the very dirt
• You may shoot me with your words

There are still a lot of examples for those techniques. May be you also get try to find it out.

Today, I saw a back number advertisement which is same as below :

I got this advertisement from an exhibition a few month ago. This advertisement is very funny because there is attaching with a tablet of Paracetamol which we are called as painkiller. From this advertisement the company was make an assumption which is all people may relief their headache pain by taking Paracetamol. But in the real life, Paracetamol with 625mg should only suitable for adult. It is not suitable for children. The amount should a child taken for Paracetamol should be less than 500mg and this amount should be calculate from their age,size and so on. So the company make an incorrect assumption.

And the company state that "having headache trying to send big file attachments?" How big the file attachments the company asked. The big file attachments is standing for the size of the file attachments or the big number of the file attachments and so on. This advertisement is full of vague words and ambiguity words. This may leads the readers misunderstanding and misleading. As a conclusion, we must be careful when write a statement.

National Day is coming soon.....

Still have another 2 hours 47minutes will be the 51st Malaysia's Birthday.....

Every year a lot of people try their best to go to the KLCC for the countdown celebration. Initially, I also want to go to KLCC with my friends for celebrate the National Day like the previous years but this time I cannot go with them because I'm sick. I'm getting a heavy flu.....

All my friends persuade me to go with them by saying that all of the Malaysian are celebrating the National Day in the KLCC. Everyone is doing so. As a Malaysian, I also need to celebrate the National Day in the KLCC. Futhermore, they tell me that every year we will go to the KLCC for the National Day Celebration and this is one of our custom so this year we also need to do so.

At this moment, I know my friends are trying to persuade me by using Ad populum Appeal to Common Practice and Ad populum Appeal to Tradition.

Finally, I want to say Happy Birthday to our country,Malaysia.

A Story

Today, I had a dinner with my ex-colleague,Mariam. Mariam was just come back from UK. She told me a story which is her neighbour told her when she was live in Southampton. The title for the story is A Wise Teacher.

The story is as the following :

A primary school teacher sends this note to all parents on the first day of school : " If you promise not to believe everything your child says happens at school, I'll promise not to be believe everything he says happens at home"..........

This note which is the teacher was sent is a deductive statement because the statement contain one hypothetical syllogism.

The condition for Hypothetical Syllogism is If A then B so in this situation the :

• A is the parent do not believe what their child said and
• B is the teacher also do not said anything

After listen to the story, I realize that all the matters around us are related with what we learn in the Critical Thinking class. And the reason why we need to study the Critical Thinking.

LUCKILY, I have the chance to learn the Critical Thinking.....
